Interreg Italia-Malta Programme 2014-2020

The Italy-Malta Programme is a cross-border Programme which covers the Maltese Islands and several regions in Sicily. This Programme aims to reinforce sustainable growth at the cross-border level with a particular focus on the Research & Innovation sectors, foster the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises, protect the environment as well as promoting actions which mitigate the effects of climate change whilst also addressing the area’s natural and anthropic risks.
This Programme, which is co-financed under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), shall address the following thematic objectives:
     strengthening research, technological development and innovation
     enhancing the competitiveness of SMEs
     preserving and protecting the environment and promoting resource efficiency
Local Authorities, Regional Authorities, District Authorities, SMEs, Graduates, Universities, Research Institutes, NGOs, Innovative Clusters, Micro Enterprises, Port Authorities, Public Administration and Entrepreneurs.  
Partner Organisations
Partners from the cross border area will be required. Modalities to be defined.

Interreg V-A Italia Malta 2014-2020 – 2nd Targeted Call - Information Session on 4th July 2019
This is the notification of the "targeted call" public notice 02/2019 for the presentation of cooperation projects with the "one step" procedure under the Priority Axes I, II, III of the INTERREG V - A programme Italy Malta and the publication of the summary notice in the Official Journal of the Sicilian region, the text of the public notice and related documentation for the submission of the project proposals are now online, on the website of the Italia-Malta programme.
The 2nd call for the Interreg V-A Italia-Malta programme may be accessed as per following link with the relevant annexes.
