The Europe In My Region campaign reaches Malta through a nation-wide roaming exhibition

The Europe In My Region campaign is an EU wide communication initiative that aims to feature EU funded projects and actions carried out in different regions throughout Europe. Regions throughout the EU implement activities and create tools in order to engage with citizens and show what is being made possible in their areas with the use of European Structural and Investment funds.

The Maltese Managing Authority for EU funds is this year taking an active part in this campaign through a nation-wide roaming photographic exhibition which shows some of the projects being implemented with the support of the European Union. The exhibition aims at providing interesting information and updates to the general public on projects being implemented, whilst also increasing awareness of how European Funds have helped Maltese Citizens. The exhibition will be visiting a number of villages in Malta including Birzebbugia, Marsascala, Sliema, Qawra, Birgu, Rabat, the Malta International Airport, Victoria Gozo and Valletta.

The roaming exhibition was kicked off in Birzebbugia on 30^th August by Hon Dr Stefan Zrinzo Azzopardi, Parliamentary Secretary for European Funds.
